Re: Synth Defects - Ticking Time Bombs

I hear a lot about battery leakage in the Polysix. The Mono/Poly was part of the same family from Korg, but I have never heard of any issues, batteries or otherwise. Did Korg fix this problem on the Mono/Poly, just get lucky, or should I still be concerned? I better open 'er up today and have a look...

Re: Prophet 6

Words cannot express how happy this news makes me. The World is a much better place now that Sequential is back. I've wanted a Prophet for the longest time and was considering a modded Prophet 600 as my next synth. Prices have been on the rise the last 10 years but this should slow that down and ret...

Re: New hybrid digital/analogue Roland Synth?

^^^^^^ how are you hoping they implement the analog mono into the hybrid poly, make it multitimbral with that just another timbre & dedicated knobs or ? ? its an intereting idea, im curious to hear more of what youd want there. I could tell you, but then I'd have to (you know what)... By that I mea...

Re: Vintage Synths on the Local News...

It's funny how they show a Juno while the reporter comments about these old machines not staying in tune...This is a great collection Lance and I'm glad you're getting some publicity, can't wait to visit some time!

Re: New hybrid digital/analogue Roland Synth?

"What I'd like to see from Roland is something new. Perhaps an analog/digital hybrid with a dual vco mono section and a digital poly section with analog filters. They could save a little on cost that way without sacrificing tone. Throw in a ton of digital fx and modulation routings. Is that to much ...

If it doesn't fit into my music...if I don't have enough time to play it...if I need the money.

Re: Variations Competition: Winner

I wanted to participate but I moved to a new locale around the time this competition started. I've spent most my free time job-hunting and a little time literal hunting with my Dad. I really liked the variations idea, just didn't have the time to record anything. So don't feel too bad Alan. :empathy...

I was just thinking how great a competition would be right now and then remembered about this one. Haven't heard any news for a while and it's been a month since the last deadline...any more entries to speak of?

I totally agree with zoom, a Sub37 definitely fits the bill. Sell you LP and Pulse and save that money for something else.

Thanks for the tip. The volume pot is the best, I find myself using it a lot. :headbang:
