I do like it but I'm not going to buy one because I don't need it. It's a very clever design and coming from Roland it's quite a surprise.

Re: Pattern sequencers - not developing with the times?

Just off my head, should we: - view sequencers not just as sequencers but a device to generate/playback usable melodies, chords in main mix or supplementary ambience, grainy tones, etc. - consider new forms of input methods other than buttons, knobs, etc. How about light and voice and morphing over ...

Re: GOOD LOOP PEDAL FOR SYNTHS

Taken from link provided. Current Real-Time Loopers at the minimum, a Real-Time Looper must be able to sample audio and loop it on the fly, and allow the user to sample new material while the current loop is playing. Usually they do much more. These are live, performance-oriented looping instruments...

Re: Help a brother choose his first synth

How complex in sound design did you intend? I could think of KingKorg but is not really supported by Korg with any firmware/feature/sound pack updates. Least it is cheaper than a Ti2. I think you have many choices.

Thread - Post a Blue Synth

I thought of sharing synths that are blue in particular with no specific objective other than sharing. Try posting a synth model in blue (primarily) not yet posted . Custom models are okay too but stick to a real photo/image please. I have an Ultranova but let me start by posting: Quasimidi Raven ht...

I think Strymon pedals, most of them go well with synths. I think I might be getting a BigSky soon :P

Lots of Roland TR-626s have this "burnt" LCD.

Re: Synth Defects - Ticking Time Bombs

Kawai R-100. So much dust accumulates in connector pads that inputs would no longer register. A good clean/bath restored them to working order.

Re: The thread of many (analog) polys

Just to chime in on Roland JX-8P with PG800. I sold it on months after acquiring it, somehow it did not "connect" with me/my existing gear. That is not to say it is not any good - just my view. On the other hand, my Roland Juno-106 sounded really nice! I like its immediacy.
