Fleetwood Mac Christine Mcvie's rig

I just went to the Tacoma Washington show and saw Fleetwood Mac, they were together again and are just as good live now as they have ever been. It was funny that Stevie Nicks thanked not only Christie Mcvie re joining the band (she hinted about a new album after their tour) but she also thanked the ...

Re: help me choose a virtual analog synth

the sledge is awesome, as it has a 1 knob per function, and pretty much so does the mopho x4, but that being said for the price of either one of those great synths you can get a blofeld desktop and a dsi tetra which is a desktop version of the mopho x4. If keys aren't an issue for you then that woul...

make your VA sound like a real analog for cheap!

so my bandmate has a EHX pedal called "the analogi*er" (great looks like my last letter of the alphabet key is broke now I guess) :( n e ways its a pedal meant for guitar players who use a lot of digital fx and want to boost more of an analog tone. It works great for that, but it also works even bet...

Re: Moog discontinues Slim Phatty

yup, just making way for the new rack sub 37 version is all, and probably a moog 4 voice poly may be in the works. I won't mind picking up a cheap used slim phatty to chain to my LP one day, and when they come out with something new the masses will sell their "old" phatty moogs to buy the "new" mode...

I agree. The pulse 2 is deep and has way more to offer you. And goes great with a blofeld.

Re: What beside or in place of a Moog Sub Phatty?

h**l yeah get a bass station 2! they go for $350 used, and all though i have a little phatty, the bass station 2 has a completely different sound to it and for the money you will be happy with those 2 mono synths, yeah they are both mono synths, so you should get a poly synth, I also 2nd the novatio...

Black Venom

saw this post on evilbay, and even though dude wants 3 times the going rate for a used M Audio Venom, I can't help but think that they should of stuck with the black prototype design! IMHO it looks pretty cool, which made me think, if they stuck with this black paint job, I have a gut feeling it wou...

Re: cheap analog drum? modular?

it's not analog, but it has modular capabilities, the arturia spark/sparkle 2.0 , the spark was a great drum machine when it came out, but now with it's new 2.0 software, i would say it's even better than the native instruments mashine.

Re: Alesis micron and Waldorf blofeld (keyboard) redundants

one thing u might want to think about is that waldorf is still a company and alesis isn't, all thought waldorf, unless you speak German, you can seriously scratch your head trying to figure out wtf they are talking about sometimes, and the blofeld is buggy as h**l, and not to mention that sometimes ...
