Re: OB-8 vs. Jupiter 6?

I'd keep the ob8, that synth bleeds lushness! and having 8 voices is all ways a plus in my book. Not that 6 is bad, its all those analog 4 voice synths that can bug me to death! Have fun with your new badass synth, and if you swap and like the jp6 more, then swap, the synth that you will use the mos...

Re: Price for Fizmo Rack and Fizmo Keyboard?

Says about average for a fizmo is a bit over a grand. shows a rack that went for 2200!!! http://synthprices.blogspot.com/search/label/Ensoniq%20Fizmo I wou...

yeah, I wasn't gonna get it. I have way too many synths that don't get enough love as it is, no need for a mediocre synth at best :D

Re: Kawai SX-240

here is a blog that the poster makes a list of mostly vintage synths that sell off of e bay, it will tell you where it was bought, the final price, and if it's working or not. He tracks them up to a couple years I think and up the present. it is a very helpful site imho 8-) http://synthprices.blogsp...

jd 990 w/ vintage synth exp

this maybe a real stupid question, but I have a jv2080 with 7 cards in it and it is very straight forward on how to access the cards, you hit A-H, and you use the card that is in there, now the jd 990 only has 1 slot, and although I found out how to access the waveforms I can't figure out how the h*...

Re: selling a korg legacy controller as a ms20min!!!

that is total b.s. I wonder how many legacy controllers have been sold since the ms20mini has been out. That is probably why they made the ms20mini, as they already had the "shell" for it ready to mass produce. I have too many mono synths, all though I would like a ms20mini, I have a gut feeling am ...

Re: DSI Dilemma

if u wanna play more than 4 notes at a time then save up for the prophet08, but if you want "half a prophet" in a cheap little box that you can play with your battered midi keyboard and you can get by with 4 notes at a time max, get the tetra. plus it is pretty cheap for what you get.

Re: NIN Nord Lead on eBay. guy immediately gets defensive

I don't know if dude thought by putting it was owned by NIN that it would drum up more bids and sell for a higher price, and if he did, it's probably working, look at all the attention this nord lead 3 is getting, right now it is the cheapest one on ebay, all though the real cost off an ebay item us...
