Re: NIN Nord Lead on eBay. guy immediately gets defensive

that's dope man-009, the cool thing is I bet he actually enjoyed selling you your esq-1 synth! I saw an interview he did where he talked about working in a music shop selling keyboards and he said it drove him insane cuz everyone at the time wanted a keyboard that had a great sounding piano or orche...

Re: is Juno 106 my best choice here?

the jp8000 is a well loved virtual analog roland synth. but it is "virtual analog" if you want a real analog u could get a juno 106 but as meatballfulton says, it's voice chips are prone to die out (I got one and had to replace 3 of the 6 within the first year of owning it) as he suggested a roland ...

Re: NIN Nord Lead on eBay. guy immediately gets defensive

I like NIN, but like the earlier poster said, if I was buying a used nord lead 3 I would want it from someone who hardly played it in a non smoking studio. NIN smokes in theirs, plus they literally THRASH the living h**l out of their synths on stage, imagine how much it's gone through on a whole tou...

Re: Best synth basslines of all time?

god that sound by grand master flash and the furious five "the message" is such a pimp a*s song! too bad puff daddy had to remake it and make a total suck a*s version off that classic song. I hate it when people remake a classic song and they re hash it and often make it way worse, and usually young...

Re: selling a korg legacy controller as a ms20min!!!

there is nothing wrong with the ms20 legacy controller I just think it is b.s. that some dude is advertising it as an ms20mini and he will probably sell it too to someone who doesn't know the difference. I know if I had bought a ms20mini off e bay or something and the legacy controller was what show...

selling a korg legacy controller as a ms20min!!!

I have wondered when the ms20mini hit the market if there would be some a hole out there that would try to take advantage of somebody and sell them the korg legacy controller as a real ms20mini, and YES, THERE ARE A HOLES OUT THERE THAT DO JUST THAT! My new band mate asked me if a used ms20mini for ...

Re: Soundtower Editors

yeah, I agree with that, considering that you pay good money to use it they need to be up to par on fixing any bugs asap, but for my dsi, I too use it for evolver it sure beats the heck out of using the desktop interface.

Re: why would anyone own 3 moog voyagers?

I agree that hardware rules over software pretty much 99 percent of the time.don't get me wrong I know a lot of people love software but for me I have to have my hands on the synthesizer I am playing at the moment. And I'm glad you weren't offended I definitely wasn't trying to offend anyone ;)

Re: why would anyone own 3 moog voyagers?

I see a lot of good points. and btw I was not trying to diss anyone for having multiple synths. I just didn't understand why. and it would be nice to have one on the toilet to make the brown noise.
