Roland MX-1 FX Video series

I'm doing an indepth video series on the FX side of the Roland MX-1 Mixer. A lot of this stuff isn't covered that well in the manual. Hopefully this helps.

Part 1: Filter/Tone FX:

I'll post the other parts when they go live over the next few weeks.

I enjoy watching artists use their gear - here's how to

I really enjoy watching people use their gear. However, there's a stack of you out there that don't show us your skills and sounds. So I thought I'd do a quick (and dirty) tutorial series on how to do it - hopefully it helps someone! Part 1 - the basics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTIKmt47Gj0 P...

Exploring the 12 individual outputs on the DrumBrute

I've always wanted to explore the 12x individual outputs on the Arturia DrumBrute. I'm using a Presonus StudioLive AR16 analog mixer which includes an 18 channel digital audio interface. I'm learning as I go - but hopefully this is interesting for some of you :)

Re: Why You post music? AND to Youtube mainly? Out of curios

I DO NOT CARE about views plusses or minuses becouse It is valuable to hear "i like it" or "i do not like it", however it is the simplest, but still it does not say HOW and what to change to make it better. I'm not sure if I agree - if you post a video up and ask for feedback - there's quite a lot ...

Re: Why You post music? AND to Youtube mainly? Out of curios

The world has changed - but not really - it just found a different way to express itself. Youtube is the free, non content-controlling place that people can watch & listen to music. They are free to go from one video to another without being made to watch content of the big recording companies. Gone...

Re: Additive synthesis? Korg Poly-800 & EX-800

It's a very crude version of something called Walsh functions, which are often used in radio signal processing but haven't gotten much use in electronic music. Walsh functions are somewhat analogous to Fourier analysis, but rely on pulse waves (of varying amplitude and duty cycle) to construct wave...

A simple way to repair microswitches on Korg EX-800

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxFYOz0DE-0 The buttons were annoying me! So I researched and discovered that you don't need to replace them with troublesome de-soldering work. You simply clean them with isoprophyl alcohol. This video covers how, in hopefully and easy to understand way. Credits to ...
