Re: Happy Christmas, love from Arturia

Went to your website, it says come back on 22nd. See you next year then. Meh Good grief  . While I am writing this, it's only a little over 2 hours until they reveal THE BIG SECRET. Sending out hardware gifts, be it a synth or a shot glass, would cause unaffordable mailing costs, in addition ...

Re: "Wonderful Christmas Time" by Wings Synth?

There is exactly one acceptable Xmas song:

Considering Wham, I still stand by what I wrote here.

That song makes me turn off the radio in under a second, really ;) .

They are unbalanced. The DX21 uses two 1/4" mono jacks. However, you can also connect it using just one jack, this one is labeled "Mix/A".

Re: Korg Poly800 parts list

Is there a proper list available? I don't think so. The one on synfo.nl (http://www.synfo.nl/servicemanuals/Korg/KORG_POLY-800_SERVICE_MANUAL.pdf) is the official one, afaik. It's also all I have for mine (mk I with onboard battery). some parts are unidentifiable on the main pcb. I could identify t...

Korg Volca #6 announced

There's the Volca Keys, Bass, Beats, Sample & FM... and now they announced an 'analog kick, bass and sub-bass synthesizer'.

Volca Kick. Available in October, and including an 'MS-20 resonator'.

Re: JASPER - DIY Wasp Clone

Is there any way to contact the seller directly (I didn't find any web site) and order the kit? I tried to register on Muffwiggler several weeks ago but never received the account activation e-mail in spite of contacting support by e-mail three times :( (same with electro-music, btw). I'd really lik...

It's official: US$ 999.99 recommended sales price.

Just a little smartass comment: You mean the SQ-1 ;). Apart from the typo, +1 for the SQ-1. It's a really nice and easy to use sequencer.

Are we going to get the stickies back? Like the "What's your last purchase?" thread. They disappeared after the last bot invasion, but I didn't see a note about that anywhere... :? http://www.vintagesynth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=766989#p766989 http://www.vintagesynth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=767...

Re: Playable step sequencer

I would like it to allow me to play the same sequence at different keys [...] The Arturia BeatStep and Korg SQ-1 have really appealing interfaces, but I don't think either of these allow this function. Does it have to be MIDI by all means? The SQ-1 allows transposing sequences by pressing the corre...
