Re: AN1X Repairs? Worth It?
Also, are you certain the Yes button even works? You can't initialize anything without it working. yes button works because yes/+ was changing patches although the static was on every switch. what has me concerned is the seller says the Yamaha came from a studio and the original owner misplaced the...

Re: AN1X Repairs? Worth It?
Yes funny thing is I can hear the reverb affecting that static. It's funny but painful hearing the white noise while sweeping the reverb knob.

Re: AN1X Repairs? Worth It?
Walked myself through.
No "Low battery" on display.
I went through resets, entered yes for #1 normal. Now the "Normal" is stuck on the display with nothing working. It's stuck in the "normal" display.
Nothing changes knobs, keys, nothing. Everything is frozen.

Re: AN1X Repairs? Worth It?
have you tried wiping out the patch using the "1,3,0" input on the number pad? I don't have the owners manual yet... Just hold down 1,3,0 at the same time? It could just be a patch issue. Also, how's the battery? if it's low, that might be your cause there too. I don't have a way to check the batte...

AN1X Repairs? Worth It?
So I purchased a Yamaha AN1X described as "great working condition" even came with a case. I was excited until it didn't come with power cord. Bought a power cord and it took a few times to warm up. Now I'm getting the most disturbing crackling white noise sound. Synth Ghosts? IDK Across the whole b...

Re: DSI speculation
Damn. Just bought a Pro One. Regardless, after jamming on the Mopho4 for several hours I'm glad I didn't listen to electron nuts and stuck with DSI.
This will be exciting.

Re: Country song with just a synth for all the tracks
Baby get yer shine on. Being that hip hop or at least southern hip hop is so prevalent in the south and in the youth it's no wonder we are seeing a cross genre mix in country. I kind of liked country the way it was and wished FL GA was more of a gimmic. Starting to hear some veteran country singers ...

1 800 Synth addiction hot line?
Help before I find out how deep the rabbit hole goes. No seriously. I have what I want, but there's one more drum machine that could replace another dm. Then I'm told I now need a CV gate sequencer for my mono but won't an octatrack do that? I'm sure I could've spent equally as much on vsts but don'...

Yamaha PLG 150 DX replaces DX7
So got my hands on the PLG 150 AN and I'm wondering if someone can tell me about the DX and XG cards. Does the DX do the job and replicate the DX7 well? Is it close? I'm guessing I will have more options with the card in the newer board vs. The DX7. Saving room for a mono and I think I'm doing it ri...

Re: New SynthPop tune - Lots of analog goodness & Free Downl
I dig it.
Even through my galaxy phone
I didn't see any photos of the band so I'm imagining an image.
have you two thought of commissioning a local art study to do videos?
If I'm way behind, please forgive me but keep the jams coming!

Re: I AM Electro ~ Vocoder Suggestions
Wow thanks guys. Lots of ideas. So has anybody used the VH card for the Yamaha CS6X? Just bought the board and have 1 PLG open. Last week I picked up less than 3 months old Mopho 4, TR8, TB3 and VT3 for $1300 I bought a DSI and essentially walked with a FREE AIRA setup. The VT3 is fun though I've on...

Re: hidden cost of using ebay
Yep $466.00 last month at around $4,000 in sales or so.
Ridiculous. But where else can I sell painted 15mm WWII miniatures?
It funded my renewed interest in collecting gear.
