Re: Why do you use the Synthesizer you use most?

Hands down, MS2000. I have written over every preset on the baby. I have owned it for seven years. Why would I own a 4-voice synth you ask?!?! It was a learning tool into the block diagram synth programming world. It was $300. It sounded pretty from the start. So I put a lot of time into it. I hate...

That's great! I agree. I should turn it on some time again and try and write some pads.

Re: Looking for a workstation(all in one)

I have always enjoyed the Roland XP series. The 60/80 has a sequencer. They are both super expandable, up to four roms. The roms are great btw. 61+ keys.

I owned the 30 and it was super heavy, but it's nothing compared to the 80(A BEAST!)

Worth checking them out.

Re: ELEKTRON SYNTHS?

Maybe Elektron users will create a screen-tilt mod like the AKAI's had. That could fix the strain.

BTW, my machinedrum is indestructible. Hope I'm not disappointed when I get an Octatrack and A4.

Re: Synths that didn't impress you

Korg Poly800. I laugh so hard thinking about it. My friend brought it over and he had bought it used for 40 bucks and was so excited. We flipped the power on, fine, then we hit some keys... dead notes. We clean it and they were fine. We flipped through presets, cheesy fm sounds, not so bad, but neit...

Re: Can anyone help me recreate this saw?

The POLY800, which I have been staring at leaning against my wall for some time now, has the silliest DCO on it. Why? I don't know. My mod stick crapped out and the sequencer doesn't even work on it anymore. Oh well. :/
