Re: Behringer about to release six (!) new synths

Neither link posted leads to any such thing at the moment. The products have been removed, this is an official post from Behrige, taken from from Gearslutz: Dear Friends, Many of you are already well aware, but it was brought to our attention that early this morning a rather unfortunate error occur...

Re: Original MS20 - Worth It?

Mini keys are awful, I tested the MS20 mini when it went out and really were the mini keys that convinced me not to buy it, even though it could be used as a module I always hoped that Korg would put into the market a "real" module version sooner or later, and that's what happened, and the module ve...

Re: Original MS20 - Worth It?

I would buy the Korg MS20 module instead, which has the 2 versions of the filter and finally they added PWM, a much more "complete" synth

Re: Aliasing and hardware synths

To briandc and HalloweenJack, aliasing is a digital phenomenon only. It is one of the things that analog fans deride in digital instruments. Thank you for pointed that out, I was not sure it was only in the digital world. Well, I don't deride it, I've learned with my V Synth that there are occasion...

Re: Aliasing and hardware synths

In theory every digital synth is prone to aliasing, and the fact that you hear it or not is due to a combination of factors, only analog, for what I know, doesn't have aliasing (but I could be wrong), so yes, even high end synths can alias badly (Roland JDXA has a bad aliasing with PWM)... this arti...

Re: New Roland Boutique.

It looks like the D-05 has not the 28 new extra waveforms that are present in the V Synth VC1 card and in the D50 plugin version, if it's true that's really a very strange choice from Roland, since they were already there and ready to use why don't put them in the D-05? :?: Actually I find these ext...

Re: DSI Announces New REV2 16-Voice Analog Poly Synth!

Thank you for taking the time to write the review and post the mp3, I found them all very useful, I really appreciate that! :thumbleft: It's definitely on my radar since I don't have an analog poly and I was a bit dissapointed by the DeepMind 12, I'm looking forward to playing it and testing it pers...

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12

Finally I had the opportunity to try it, well only a couple of hours because it was a very busy day but that day I was so close to one of the biggest musical instruments shop in Milan that I couldn't resist   ...I just surfed through the presets, tweaking some parameters and trying to und...

Re: Just received a Korg Sigma for free!!

The problem you are describing sounds like an easy fix, the switch just needs cleaning, a bit of deoxit should do the work :) Thank you for the advice, I will try it! :thumbleft: Congrats, it's a very desirable synth for me. Stigma is currently my favorite plugin, it's so lucky to have the real one...

Re: Shamelessly digital synth to pair with analog?

I edit my own patches with my FS1R and I'm not surely a genius #-o , I use an editor which helps me to have a better general view of the parameters I'm tweaking but I agree with Commodorejohn, it's only a matter to understand the principles behind FM and to invest some time and energies to study how...
