Re: Roland JDXA, any thoughts?
Thank you Z for the videos, your point of view now is absolutely clear...so, to summarize, if someone need "only" an analog polysynth the JDXA is not the best choice, if someone is deep into programming new sounds and "merge" analog into digital and vice versa the JDXA is the right path to follow, e...

Re: Roland JDXA, any thoughts?
Please stop thinking of the analog section being 4 voice polyphonic. Instead, think of it being 4 dual oscillator monophonic synths. Curious what you mean here. Could you expand on this? Thanks. For what I have understood the JDXA real strength and flexibility lies in considering it as a series of ...

Please stop thinking of the analog section being 4 voice polyphonic. Instead, think of it being 4 dual oscillator monophonic synths. Thank you Z, this makes sense to me...have you ever found a situation where the aliasing with pwm and digital waves was a problem? I use very often pwm, well with my ...

Roland JDXA, any thoughts?
Well, I have to say that I'm becoming tempeted by this synth, mainly because the used price here in Milan has dropped to 900/1000 euros, which is insanely cheap for what it has to offer even though few people seem to like it  But at the same time the JDXA for me is also a "what if" synth: what ...

Re: How many sounds/patches in your compositions?
My band is a duo, the guitarist and I, so I am "forced" to use my synths for the drums, bass, pads/atmospherics/various sounds, in one word for the "generic" arrangements of our songs, then sometimes I use my synths for solo part too, obviously when the guitar is not needed... Usually, apart from dr...

Re: What was the most expensive Synth you ever bought?
Roland V Synth for 800 euros, I always buy used synths  ...ironically my son and my wife were purchasing a brand new OB6 for me as a Christmas gift (2600 euros here in Italy), they changed their minds after "exploring" with me which synths were in my wish list, and even though I think that OB6...

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12
Yes, I do also think that we have to wait at least an in depth review in order to understand what the DP12 is all about... JD-XA is pretty misunderstood but those who know it well know how it betters synths twice its price in some areas (actual synthesis areas - not quanity of voices or how many FX ...

Re: What's going on with all the spam?
This is my favourite synth site, the only one I'm registered and in which I contribute, what makes VSE different and unique is that here I always find competent advices from real users/owners of the synth I am asking of, and not useless opinions based on some youtube videos (as it happens often on o...

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12
Square/pulse only on DCO2? WTF :help: I do agree with you, I am a little dissapointed by that, but anyway the price is interesting, I think that here in Europe could be 999,99 euros  Anyway I am not interested in the keyboard version, maybe the desktop if it'll be in the 700 euros range...if I...
