Re: standalone vintage arpeggiator?

unfortunately amiga disks were a special breed. they were 880kb.. physically impossible for PC floppy drives to read them.. that's always been my understanding.. however amiga disk drives could read pc formated disks with certain software. That is awesome that your A500 booted up and is working! :) ...

Re: standalone vintage arpeggiator?

Yea I tried to ask if BnP could access the sampler because I was willing to learn it instead but the person I spoke with I think by phone or maybe by email (made my first email account in 96) and they said no or at the very least couldn't confirm. I've never tried Music-X but that video does look a ...

Re: standalone vintage arpeggiator?

I'm Running Tiger Cub.. it's a 12 track MIDI sequencer that allows me to access the Amiga's internal sounds like a midi instrument which is pretty unique from what I could find back then. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eLtZbYCQp8 Does Music-X have an built in ARP?! I've never used it before. Also ...

Re: standalone vintage arpeggiator?

yea that's pretty awesome.. i see one for $300.. i guess that's ok though i must say i'd probably go with one of those akai pro units.. granted i realize it's not old enough to drink.. but on a budget getting something almost 1/2 the cost that's basically brand new.. it's tempting.. but i must say.....

Re: standalone vintage arpeggiator?

do you know of that old akai itself would slave to a midi clock? having it be on it's own internal clock would not be too helpful as i'd be wanting everything to be synced up.

Thanks!

I'm usin...

standalone vintage arpeggiator?

Hi there, I'm doing a vintage electronic studio setup with a requirement that all gear be old enough to drink (21+) and part of this is me using an Amiga 1200 as my sequencer.. I have a few synths that have arpeggiation in them like my DW-8000's and that's great but it's internal. I also own some ge...
