Re: Has anyone ever actually used this patch...?

2 tracks in a row in Al B. Sure's album Nite N Day is on use DND. Both in a row. The same note. The Indonesian artist Cindy Cenora used a LOT of D-50. Particularly Staccato Heaven. This song of hers uses DND AND Staccato Heaven. I think it was made on among over things, a D-50. DND is in the song se...

What were popular synths in early 90's pop?

Like Ace of Base, Celine Dion, Paula Abdul, Mariah Carey, and other similar stuff, especially in eastern and SE Asia. I'm talking about 1990-1993 pop music. For example the sounds I'm talking about Bell type synths Piano chords (non M1, it's more jangly than one, this has it https://m.youtube.com/wa...

Like 80's funk, 70's disco, or this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NJ-ISHry6uY What is your favorite synth for these leads and basses (by bass I mean as in The JB's Blow Your Head)? What are the preferred synths for these types of leads and basses? Especially leads. Mine is Synth1 and my former music...

Those must be the same synths used in the movie soundtrack, right?

Re: The great thread of electronic/synthesizer soundtracks

Micke, what synths were used on the following scores? The New Scooby Doo Mysteries (1984) Super Mario Bros. Super Show (1989) composed by Shuki Levy Duck Tales (1985) And tons of other 80's cartoons and animated films. I wonder what synths they used? Also, on The Lion King, Beauty & The Beast, and o...

Re: going back to the 70s?

Look in the synth string sounds, layer that and it will work well. Also, lower the cutoff. I've noticed if you tweak Bright Saw Pad (the first Pad sound) it works well. Also, the Nord Electro Mellotron settings with edited cutoff. I think the FA is the best bet though because it has SuperNatural eng...

Re: Seeking Juno 106 Patch Sample

I listened to it. It sounds like a resonant filter self oscillating with an envelope. No attack, quick decay, zero sustain zero release.
