Re: Synth you'd buy again if...

My Prophet 2000 sampler. That was a lot of fun. Sold my TR-606, JX-3P, prophet 2000 for 400$ Bought a MKS-30 In spring and sold it last month. Never really liked it as much as my JX-3P and Prophet. Anyway I find analog synths too expensive if they should make All those sounds digital synths Can make

Re: Yamaha DX7II-FD to Control TG77? Or Something Else?

Why not use it then? As i recall it is only the dynamic response that is different Value from 0-99 where others goes from 0-127 That means Your DX-7 does not open up for eg. A filter as much as a midi controller or most other synths Will do, due to the differens In key velocity. But You Can just adj...

Re: Help: Yamaha dx7 II-FD and ASR-10

Inside the DX7 there is a battery size of a coin. You solder that out and solder the other one In. You May be lucky that there is a battery holder connected To the board so You do not need to solder. Anyway You must Open up the synth. Check yamaha forum that has a lot of Info regarding this. Cheers

Re: Help: Yamaha dx7 II-FD and ASR-10

Try and se if You Can load sounds to the DX7 via sysex.
That should work. The battery is probably dead and it then looses
It's internal sounds.

The asr-10 I do not know, but ofrene with samplers a disk is requirred.
Maybe You Can load sounds via sysex A's Well.

Re: Best (or least worst) vintage samplers

I would go for the S2000 Have two of Them and they work great. The sk casio Series are toys In my opinion. My daughter has one. ☺️ I also have Roland S-330 and Emulator IIIxp which sounds cool. There is one thing about many samplers You need to load the os system before playing. I do not know ensoni...
