Re: Top 10 list, need help

Ht-700 has midi so it is not a toy in my opinion.

Casio SK-200 sampling keyboard almost as sk-1 just bigger

Re: Yamaha CS15 vs Korg Mono/Poly

The korg mono/poly would be my choice.
It is a poly synth the cs15 is mono.
I have played a cs-20m and they are overrated In my opinion.
I had a JX-3P which sounds much better.
Go for the korg

Re: Ensoniq EPS-16+ Disk Reading Issues

I have akai samplers where one of Them had read error
It was an S2800. I pressed the head Down a bit to make better contact
to the disk and it helped. If You Can check if the head has Any
Contact with the disk. It could probably be 1 mm or less that could cause the problem

Re: Weird shape of Yamaha TX7

Forgot to write that if you get one remember you need software to program it. There are free programs on the net. Eg. Dexed, Dr muller dx7 prog. There is one more for free, but forgot the name. You can just check out the DX7 sites on the net. It is a great synth. By the way dexed can read and play sy...

Re: Weird shape of Yamaha TX7

It is a desktop module. I have 2 on top of each other. They are a pain to stack due to its design.
Later their modules became 19 inches like other brands eg TX-81z and TX-802

Re: My favourite synth goes soft- Virtual CZ

It is brighter sounding than the Real deal.
I have a cz 1000 and the coffeeshop editor. I bought
The cz app that casio released and there is a difference In sound.

The cz 1000 sounds more Dark and analog than the app.

Re: Time to jack bass synth used

Well that is an analog bass synth sound. You can not make that with your DX-21 I used one back in the 80'. Now I use DX-7 instead ;-) I would have guessed that perhaps the cz would come close. Why not try a vst synth? The JX-8p emulation you can find it under the soft synth section The SQ8l which is...

Re: Looking for the right Synth (LoFi /Experimental) // 500-

Casio cz line is very different from the normal subtractive synth, but sounds like an analog subtractive synth Different to program from eg a jx-3p. Lofi is not how they sound in my opinion. Maybe you should play one of the old Roland samplers. ;-) They are lofi 12 bit and you can get a lot of sound...
