Do you still have the VPC-103 files? dropbox link is dead.
They're in the SysEx link in the first post.

Re: Yamaha tx16w

Okay, I'm finally done. Here's the entire Yamaha TX16W service manual booklet and the ridiculously gigantic schematics poster which was nearly impossible to scan. Given the rarity and amount of scanning hours spent, I should have put this on eBay to make a boatload of money  https://mega.nz/fil...

Re: Akai S612 Sound Library Archive Project.

As an aside, I would also like to see an effort made to archive the S900/S950 libraries. These libraries are also poorly archived, with only a handful of disk images having made their way online. It would be great if we could fully archive those sampler's libraries as well. Dig deep into this one.....

Re: Six Trak firmware update - why buyng an EPROM?

You can't flash an EPROM more than once. You can reflash an EE PROM. Eh... I suppose that's somewhat the gist of it, but it is a bit pedantic and potentially misleading to state it like that in the context of the original post, especially when you also stated you *can* flash an EPROM, but only once...

Re: Six Trak firmware update - why buyng an EPROM?

I got hold of the Version 14 (and also 11) in BIN images formats... Has anyone got instructions of how to flash these firmware files directly on the existing EPROM? Apparently the only way to upgrade is buying the EPROM... That can be done, but you need both an EPROM programmer and an EPROM eraser ...

Re: Ensoniq EPS Memory Expander Question

Had an idea. Good/Bad? Not sure yet. I have two ensoniq EPS machines with 2x Expander. I really want to find a 4x expander. Prices are getting stupid & finding them isn't easy, in the first place. My idea/curiousity... Could a 2x Expander be modified? Anyone have a schematic or the unit itself? My ...

Re: EMU ESI-32 won't work with SCSI2SD

Does anyone have any ideas for how to fix this, or could it be a bad SCSI2SD device? Probably a termination issue. The SCSI2SD has SCSI termination which can either be set or disabled (the method to do so depends on the exact SCSI2SD revision -- v5.0, v6.0, etc.), and the ESI itself has resistor pa...

Re: Oberheim DX - Old Program Cassettes - WAV to MIDI?

It's not insane. You should post the WAVs (or FLAC) here. I think someone with one of the last U.S. models would be able to do it fairly easily. It's conceptually possible to do it with just a computer program, but it would require a bit of effort, and the market for such a utility is probably very ...

*plus I cannot adjust the volume with the fader with this channel
I think the best thing to do is to narrow down where the potential fault is by using a pre-recorded tape (New Kids on the Block?) to check the CUE bus, STEREO bus, and AUX SEND outs.

Re: Change of internal transformer JP-8000

I know this is an old post, but would anyone have any info how this was done. I am looking to do the same for the same reason. Thank you I believe the JP8000 transformer has a few voltage markings across the top, such as 240V, 230V, 120V, 100V, and NC. Currently on your transformer, there should be...

Re: Please help Urgently! Korg M1 noise level

I also do not know if it is natural in M1 or not) but as soon as I connect it to sound card high noise appears I am going to assume the M1 and the computer/audio interface (sound card) are plugged into the same electrical circuit in your residence. There are a couple things you can try: - Power the...
