It's quite old, but i think it was updated when he released an iOS version. Some people used to call it the "poor man's Absynth" (if that means anything to you...)

Some acid-esque jams featuring squealing and other noise from the Monotron (the first 3 tracks)

Re: New Mopho OS
I tried to upgrade my MoPho from OS 1.0 to 1.3 using USB-MIDI cables and Bome's SendSX set a moderately slow transfer rate but unfortunately during the countdown from 128 it stalled out at 6 and now won't countdown at all. I've never had any issues with OS upgrades using Bome's SendSX before so I d...

New Mopho OS
Some nice new features: 1. New Arp modes added 2. Sequencer Slew added 3. Encoder response improved 4. Ignore program change global option added 5. Program knob changes the value on the screen - this should make editing patches quicker, you can select the variable you want to change with any of the ...

Re: Ctrlr - MIDI hardware controller for old and new gear
Oh yeah, one feature request for the Mopho editor:
is it possible to make the GUI fit on a screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 (my acer netbook), or somehow resizable?

Re: Ctrlr - MIDI hardware controller for old and new gear
Nice project! Any chance of a Mopho editor? If you're already making one for the Evolver, it should't be too hard, right? I know there's the Soundtower one that works fine, but a VST version would be great. And judging from various forum discussions, plenty of other Mopho owners would be happy about...

Re: Soft Synth Shells for live performance
I suspect there's still a market for a good, simple, live VST shell. The ideal product would allow the user to configure keyboard splits and layers of VSTs for a single MIDI channel, have good set-up/preset recall, LARGE UI, low CPU usage, and allow the PC keyboard to act as a second MIDI keyboard....

Re: Random delay midi VST plugin?
I don't know of any "standalone" VST plugins that would do what you ask, but something like this could easily be built with Bidule, or some other modular patching program. Bidule is probably the cheapest, and it can be used as a VST or VSTi in other hosts. + It's a great tool for other kinds of MIDI...

Re: Time for mini laptops yet?
Before i got the UMA25 i also had crackling problems with the latest version of asio4all, until i downloaded v 1.8, which worked perfectly. But yeah, a proper audio interface with asio drivers would most likely work better, i know mine does. Also, the old Windows tweaks, like setting processor sched...
