No one can be from Cubian decent. All the orginal people on the Island of Cuba fleed or killed themselves when the Spainards arrived.
Surely, you jest. :)

His mother is Cuban, therefore he is of Cuban descent.

But with like Diverse's cut-up rhymes on 'Plastic', those were played back on the MPC. At least, that is how it seemed . I could be off a little bit there. Wow, that's stange...so they used pre-recorded vocals from the original songs... ? Yeah, but that was one of the only songs they did that had l...

...better than Guillermo and the other dude... Just have to chuckle at that. For years he was just Scott, all of a sudden he moves to Spain and it's 'oh yeah, my first name is actually Guillermo'. Umm... okay. :D Btw- I'm not saying that's not his real name. He is of part Spanish and Cuban descent....

Sounds great TT... so they did pretty good versions of his songs live? I guess there were not faithful to the albums? Hmm... I wouldn't say they were exactly faithful, but they were very, very close. Really good. From what I could tell, which wasn't always easy, the Virus and Moog were recreating s...

Though I am a bit tired of reading and hearing over the last several years, from rock critics and rabid fans, about what an unassailable bastion of musical genius Radiohead are. There's your axe. But fair enough. I like jokes. 'Tis what emoticons are for though. And my apologies, it's just t...

I say whiney prat with a permanent head-cold In all honesty, it's comments like that which we make me dismiss whatever comes before or after them. These things are subjective, of course, and we all agree to disagree, but it sounds like you have an axe to grind, which makes any discussion of it not ...

Some cool sounds there, too bad that band's saddled with such a godawful, annoying vocalist. He takes singing through your nose to a whole new level. Surely, you jest. About what? I really do think Radiohead's singer is incredibly nasal and annoying. Even if you like this band, would you re...

Saw Prefuse last night at the Troubadour. Really good show I thought. He started out playing his newer ish, then the second half of the show was basically all classic stuff, which was rowdy, of course. Cool stage setup. He had a live drummer, another dude playing a Lil Phatty and launching samples f...

Would be dope if they were still making the sfx-6 because with the combination of the joystick and the user waves you would basically have a VS. You could load those VS waves into it, hageir. You'd just be missing the analog filter. You're totally right...god, I hope they do that...I've been on the...

I was thinking about picking up a prophet vs in this month but now that the mkII mono will have wavetables I'm not sure anymore.. (I know the VS is AMAZING) is the monomachine mkII worth getting, only because of the (custom) wavetables? or will the mkI do? how many people will become quickly bored ...

I dont think Radiohead was playing a real Ondes Martenot, i didnt look at the video but Johnny Greenwood did have custom built one that you can pick up for about $2500 USD from Analogue Systems called the French Connection. I know he played the french connection all over Yorke's solo record and pla...
