You can close the thread now. Im getting the MS2000 instead. uh...If you have an R3 .....why? I have the MS2000 and a Radias (like an R3). There is ALOT of overlap in programablity and timbres. Since the R3 is the more advanced version of the pedigree, it will do evrything an MS2000 can do....and m...

My understanding (i've never done more than demo and read reviews) is that the KARMA engine is poorly implemented on the synth, with many of the features inaccessable from the front panel, and the result is that most of the patches may not be musically usable. In short, it's the mother of all pigs t...

the awesome sounds of quality hardware synths This is a misconception. 1. It's not what you got, it's how you use it. 2. It's ALL good. I have Novation's V-Station and A-Station/KSR/X-Station. Once recorded they are indistinguishable . There are emulations (ranging in accuraccy) of practically ever...

What are you using to control it?

Have you tried a different MIDI cable?

Are the cables firmly inserted?

The tr-606 does not have MIDI.
(however there are mods/upgrades available)

Roland MSQ-100 sequencers have MIDI/DIN conversion.
(can't say for the MSQ 60, and the MSQ 700)

Looked into getting one 10(?) years ago. Personally i think it looks sexy No filters (IIRC) no thanks. 8-bit sampling without upgrading the RAM? How does that work? And good luck finding 3x 1Mb RAM these days! Pass. while the 8-bit is laughable, that actually kind of made me want it more! I don't r...
