for that price range I've heard decent things about the Behringer Truth Monitors (b2031 or something? I can't remember). Stay the f**k away from Behringer ms-20s though - shithouse.

Hey Stab,

Thanks, again, for your input. Yeah, I think we gonna have to do what you said. Bit of a s**t, but yeah. What can you do, eh?

I don't really get the first 'pain in the arse' option you mentioned, but maybe ball will know what the means.

Thanks, dude.

Complex, track-by-track bouncing in protools

Okay, I have no idea how to phrase this. Because I'm an idiot. Ballophun's not an idiot, but he was too f**k drunk to use a mouse with any accuracy when we tried to do this, so he was of no use. Anyway, basically, we recorded & mixed some songs @ his uni last year (they have a crazy HD set up there)...

One thing to note about looping on the DL-4 - the loops decay over time. Its not a true looper, in that sense. ie- the first loop you record gets gradually quieter and quieter. I wish that weren't the case. The DL-4 is an incredible pedal. I've never used a pedal and had such instant, varied and awe...

I just got my RC-50. its awesome, but far less WYSIWYG than any other looper I've tried. I'm not complaining- thats what the manual's for.

prickly - check out www.loopersdelight.com. its the best looper resource out there. The ElectroHarmonix 16 Second Delay reissue (it loops for longer than 16 seconds- they're just trying to capitalize on the name of one of their old products... and in doing so have described it as something far more ...

I had a big hiss/hum problem. I disconnected everything in my studio (power cables, audio cables, everything) then started one by one plugging it all back in, trying not to cross over cables, and testing as I added each instrument, and the problem was eliminated. I have NO idea about the technical s...

Cheers, Entropy Farmer. Looks like I'll have to look further, then. We were considering Digi 002, or something, but I hate those pro-tools bastards.

I'm pretty sure an MS-20 features pretty heavily in their songs. Thinking of tarantula etc, that sounds very MS-20 to me. But what the f**k do I know?

Was going to start a new topic, but thought I'd throw this in here. I'm looking at getting a new mixer/audio interface. We've been using, between us, an mbox and an m-audio audiophile as audio interfaces, running through a behringer mixer. We've been rehearsing our live performance and we're current...
