My choice for most overpriced mass-produced synth when new...Kurzweil 250. It wasn't the most expensive synth ever made, but it sure cost a lot for what it was. Over ten grand for just a sample playback keyboard, and if you dared even think about doing any sampling yourself you could add another $4...
