Re: KORG MS-FEST ... MS-fans / links / pics / patches

Hi, here are some of my patches for the MS20 Funky lead http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3204/3028713317_e50d9bbc19_b.jpg patches like these can really be improved by sending the out of eg1 to the vca. eg1 doesnt do anything, so ur settings are useless anyway. set delay to 0, attack to 0 and release ...

Re: Finally recorded something with synths!

Hey Den,

long time long seen!
great track, loving the smooth tone of it, and the stereo panning is right there.

Re: Finished an album, at last!

Hey seamonkey, thanks a lot for kind words. i've used this set-up: korg ms20 (which you've probably thought as a modular), roland juno 60, korg ms2000 and a roland xv2020 rompler . RME Multiface II soundcard. Sequencing and multitracking: Adobe audition and FL. And my outboard effects: symetrix 606/...

Re: Selling Korg MS20 and getting something else ...

That's not a very favorable trade. MS-20s regulalry sell for $1500+. You can pick up a Poly6 and DW-6000 for less than $1000 easily. I'd say he would at least need to give you can extra $500 cash to make it reasonable and he would still be getting a good deal assuming your MS-20 works and looks goo...

Re: Selling Korg MS20 and getting something else ...

Ok, what about a Polysix? I'd personally rather one of those than a Mono/Poly, but thats just me. You could also download the Korg software versions of these machines to try to make some comparison but they do sound a bit different to the originals not suprisingly  Other than that check out al...

Re: Selling Korg MS20 and getting something else ...

clusterchord,

actually, i'm not quite aiming for another mono synth. I would rather take a poly.
Have you ever had a play with mono/poly or quite similar?

Re: Selling Korg MS20 and getting something else ...

Hybrid88: Hey there, i'm making a mix of electronica, idm, old techno, downtempo. Well, an odyssey would have been fantastic, but the price ... and you wont find one here in Russia. :-( I was actually thinking more of korg mono/poly these days. I reckon it's a quite inspiring machine from which one ...

Selling Korg MS20 and getting something else ...

Hey guys, i'm having some tough time deciding on this. I have an MS20 and thinking of selling it because it doesn't get much usage compared to my Roland Juno 60. I find it really harsh and raw and the patchbay just doesn't do it for me. I find ms20 a good instrument for a lab or experimental stuff, ...
