Upon further listening, it sounds like a mix between Domenic Miller's nylon string guitar and the Roland D-50 possibly because I hear a plucking sound in the riff.

Yes I think the D-50 is prominent in the melody line too, but most likely layered with another synth. I have wondered about this before but have yet to find or make any patch exactly like that. It says in the booklet that Phil did all keyboards himself on this track. Maybe someone could ask him abo...

What about the signature riff that is heard throughout the song along with the drum loop?D-Collector wrote:A lot of D-50 in "Another Day In Paradise". That long strange breathy intro sequence with bells and random horn sounds, for example, is a D-50 patch.

Does anybody know what synths and drum machines were used on Phil Collins' But Seriously album? Specifically "Another Day In Paradise", and Something Happened on the Way To Heaven.
