Re: What to do with a dead Nord Modular engine?
That's where I was headed. I want to make a FEW bucks (after the fee$), so I should probably begin bidding at $100 and NOT put a Buy It Now option.

Re: What to do with a dead Nord Modular engine?
You don't understand. I don't WANT to get it repaired.
I'm just wondering if it's worth putting up on Ebay for its parts, or pitching it in a dumpster.

Re: What to do with a dead Nord Modular engine?
I was told by the shop that had it that the motherboard needed to be replaced. No specifics other than that. Didn;t know that only part of it could go bad.th0mas wrote:how do you know the entire motherboard needs replacing? not just something in the powersupply?

What to do with a dead Nord Modular engine?
It needs a new mother board, and I'm over it...
Is it worth auctioning off for its parts? What could it fetch?

That's amazing, too. The only look I really DON'T care for is the solid blue one.

Used Q's ell on Ebay between $1100-$1300.

Re: Jupiter 8 - cross modulation effect
When using cross mod and sync together, it's possible to get the pitch tracking to invert itself on a Jupiter-8. Sick s**t. I got all kinds of verklempt kitty noises that way.

Re: Korg DW8000 are they that good ? (4.7/5 rated) ?
I had one for 6 years...used on nearly every track. It's that useful. Had the Angel City upgrade and the MEX-8000. Not very deep at all synthesis wise, but a porterhouse and baked potato aren't haute cuisine, either. Doesn't stop 'em from being absolutely delicious.
