Modular synth boffins...school my a*s

Thinking of consolidating my 2-case Doepfer system to one (see pics below). I do want to keep a 3 oscillator/3 LFO set-up (see single case layout), but I've always had an extra VCA (A-131 exponential), ADSR (A-140) and mixer (A-138 linear)....which I've never even used. What I'm unclear about is how...

Re: List of Synthesizers Capable of Vector or Wavetable Synthesi

You can modulate the waveforms on a Virus TI with any/all LFO's. Mad s**t.

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

True dat. If I ever get the stuff called money again, I'd love to stuff a Radias into an M3 frame to have a double-headed moisty beasty from heck.

Re: Korg MS2000 - a classic in the making?

Wow...what a topique. I had an MS2000 for quite a while (concurrently with a JP8000), and loved its swiss army knife like utility. Best part was the DWGS and the nifty modulations you can do with the oscs...awesome for "alligator mayonnaise" type sounds. When I bought my Waldorf Q, it sat across fro...

Re: fiz biz

Had mine for OOOOOOHHHHHHH about 6 years now....colossally deep organic sounds despite having no FM at all.

Interesting thing about Sound Diver....it actually names the patches that are simply labelled 1-64 on the synth. Damned silly names....think I'll sue Ensoniq.

O wait....

Re: Synths that drone

My Andromeda can hold infinitely (small R2 level knob on envelope 3). Q takes a VERY long time to fad out when release is cranked all the way clockwise. There's even a patch which NEVER fades out....I still can't identify which parameter is responsible.

Re: Transwave synthesis

Perhaps in this case "exotic" = niche.

If so, it holds true for me. Fizmo is a one trick pony, but it's a VERY useful trick.
