In the rompler area, I'm pretty happy with my emu 2XR. Quick way to pads, flutes, mellotron. Lots of presets, multitimbrality.

Same opinion here. SVC350 was my choice. 2 aux from my console, I can route every kind of signal into it.

Thanks again to the VSE community. I got the manual thanks to yours links. I'm very exciting to program my new mks70 (with PG800) ! I had a JX8P in the 90's and was nostalgic about its typical sound. Let's play ! :D

never saw that csq-100 before. that thing looks great. would be nice to put next to an 808. anybody here ever use one? I had one, and sold it because it's impossible to store your sequences with it... I guess the csq 700 is better. (nowadays, macbook pro & motu + MAQ16 are more my cup of tea for pr...

midi to cv box ?

Hi, I'm looking for an midi/cv box for my set-up.
Your experiences & opinions are warmly welcome :D
I've got a yamaha cs15 (Hz/oct), a Monopoly (V/oct) that I'd like to get sequenced via midi.
Sync a KPR77 and have extra cv/arp sync out would be a bonus.

I had one for a few weeks. From what I can recall, it's like an S1000, but you can't record on it. As for the S1000, the memory is very limited, rare an expensive. Mine had only 2Mo, I didn't use it. (Nowadays, in the low budget akai sampler, i suggest to look at the S2000). I just bought an S5000 f...
