Re: How much is an Oberheim OB12 worth nowadays?

yup, and some people love mandolins. fluffy puppys named chester, dandy walks on an autumn eve, etc. i just don't think it deserves the name oberheim, but that is MY opinion. h**l, a matrix 6 is beefier than the ob12, a matrix 6 is still worthy of the name. it was only 2-3 years ago these were going...

Re: How much is an Oberheim OB12 worth nowadays?

They were made by organ manufacturer Viscount in Italy and Tom Oberheim had nothing at all to do with it. I used to be a buyer for a music chain, we ordered a few of these. They really don't st...

Of course, the person on the phone also said she'd never heard of a DX5, so I'm not sure how much i can trust yamaha's knowl...

Using CV from MS20 to Mono/Poly

I am haveing problems with pitch and scale between my MS20 and MonoPoly. From what I understand, this is perhaps due to different voltage on each synth? I can get one key in pitch but the slave pitches up about two octaves in only one. Is there a way to remedy this. (as you can guess, i'm new to CV)...

Morris Day and the Time

VERY true story... In 1997 I get a phone call from a promoter who got my number from a friend of my A&R guy. He said that Morris Day and The Time were doing a gig at a local university. The Oberheim OBXa his main keyboardist used just died and he had heard I owned several vintage synths. They needed...
