Re: Which Electribe?

I'd highly suggest an ES-1, they're a rhythm sampler so it's laid out like a drum machine, it's extremely easy to use and you can load it up with any kit you'd like! I bought one as my first drum machine and was extremely happy with it.

Re: Scored an ESQ-1...need advice

You can actually still buy the chips from syntaur, so you're in luck. I'd check out buchty's site, i just sent him an email when i had the issue with mine and he walke...

Just picked up a DX7!

I had the fortune of picking up a like new dx7 a couple days ago for almost nothing from an older fellow was selling it along with a ton of other stuff as he has a 2nd kid on the way and the wife put the pressure on for him to dismantle his music cave. Shitty deal for him, but good for me i suppose....

Re: sequencing for dummies

EA-1 looks like it might be a good way to go, thanks for the suggestion! I've tried figuring out the esq-1's built in sequencer a few times to no avail ... i guess a person could always download a manual and read up on it but it seems like it relies heavily on menu diving, i'd like something that's ...

sequencing for dummies

To start off with i know practically nothing about sequencing so take it easy on me ;) I'm looking for something simple, inexpensive and easy to use. I don't need anything fancy by any means but i'd like it to be intuitive. I have an esq-1, an electribe es-1 mk2 and a boss tr-505 which all i believe...

Very nice. Yet i think i'd prefer the module version they used to make for $150 cheaper, as i can't imagine those keys being all too playable.

Re: ESI-32 Help!

Thanks for the great advIce! Does anyone know what sample formats the ESI-32 is compatible with? Like ... can it use E6400 or esi-2000 or esi-4000 etc samples?

Re: Woo! Picked Up A TX7! Great Little Synth...

I'm glad to hear some positive things about the TX7 i've been seriously considering getting one or a TX802, as i've already got a DX-21 and really don't have room more boards but i love those DX7 sounds!
