Can't remember exactly what it was, but the order of buttons presses wasn't correct. Confused me for a bit.

I don't think it has presets. I ordered mine directly from MFB and can't remember it having any. "offers 72 rhythms, each with corresponding fill-ins." just means there's 72 programmable locations, each with a fill-in.

You wouldn't want the presets anyway.

I think the q80ex has two midi ports. Although it's not a deal breaker as I have a midi patch-bay, but at any rate I'll probably have to not cheap out on this and get something more featured.
