Re: Your latest musical purchase
Scored a Roland RD-1000 and an Ultra Proteus module a couple days ago from a music shop in Manchester, NH.
Ultra Proteus was $49. RD-1000 was $400 with a road case, but they offered it to me for $275. Aside from one or two dead LED's, the piano works great!

Waveforms, and filters, and knobs. Oh my!

Re: Your latest musical purchase
I wasn't going to buy one of these but they lowered the price so much I couldn't resist. A Behringer Model D from Guitar Center for under $200 with the 15% off coupon code.

Re: Your latest musical purchase
Been assembling an electronic drum set, starting with a Simmons SDS9 with pads, adding all necessary bits. Realized the SDS9 just wasn't an SDSV, so I jumped on an eBay auction for the module at a fair price.

Re: Your latest musical purchase
I've been on a buying spree. In reverse order of purchase, Zoom AR-48 Groovebox, Digitech RP-70 multi-fx, Alto ZMX 862 mixer(for the aux send), a DJ mixer, a Yamaha PSS-680, midiplus miniEngine(GM sounds), Presonus Eris monitors, Korg Volca Bass and a Behringer MS-01. Oh, forgot the Behringer iPad dock that helps me use Beatmaker 2.

Re: Your latest musical purchase
Nothing exciting, but finally bought something to satisfy my urge for a ‘real’ instrument rather than soft synths. I bought a Microbute from EBay and so far I’m enjoying noodling around.

Frustratingly it only came with one patch cable, but I’ve turned this into an opportunity to buy a few nice braided ones from Polar Sounds.
