How to recover factory sounds in my ESQ-1?

Post by Patchman » Thu Aug 17, 2017 6:35 pm

I think a bad cart corrupted something as my factory internal sounds have been over written with a bank of sounds from a different cart. I have the 3.5 chips installed. I did a soft reset (held record button then pressed left top soft button) but they didn't install. Tried again, same result. Power off, waited a minute and re-powered. Got message "soft reset failed, error 03". Do I need to do a hard reset or are the factory sounds available for upload somewhere? Not sure what is involved with a hard reset.

If you haven't already, I might be able to help you with this. I did a factory reset and factory sound load for an ESQ-1 last year. I think I still have the files and the manual. Let me know.
