Ok is this from a synth or just from maybe a popular sample CD of its time (saying that I got a few amount of sample cd's and it's not on them)
I was thinking yamaha TG500 or korg 01/w ... rompler stuff
the 3 examples I found:

10:40

0:14

I know it's not a very important sound, but it's important to me! lol

The Enigma stuff is 01W in its entirety (in fact, a preset - can't tell you the name right now, because my 01R/W is still comatose).
The other is a simple patch with immense pitch envelope slope or slow LFO ramp-up modulation retriggered.

That first link at 10:40? All I heard was a little comb filter and some woman breathing heavily. Whatchou talkin' 'bout, Willis?

Anyway, you want spaceship sound? I was able to reproduce the sound of the Red Lectroid service pod from the end portion of The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai &c., in about five to ten minutes of fiddling, using Novation V-Station starting from an init patch. It ain't that hard. Apply yourself. Unfortunately I accidentally hit Save twice instead of Save and Confirm so it disappeared instantly. Ain't that always the way? Do you know de wae?
Nymph, in thy orisons be all my synths remember'd.

The Korg 01/W and Yamaha TG500 didn't exist in 1990 when Enigma's first record came out.

The 2nd example is a self-oscillating low-pass filter going from low cut-off to high.

The first example could be a self-oscillating filter, but really hard to tell in that mix.

EDIT: Upon 2nd listening, the first example is most likely a filter sweep through a delay.
