JP-8000 issue.

Post by madrasputin » Tue Aug 21, 2018 9:29 pm

So I start up my JP-8000 and the initial Roland start up appears on the screen. Then, something else is said before it shows the preset and it's a message of "Corrupted memory." Also, after that message leaves the screen and it displays the preset I'm currently in, a "Low battery!" message is there also. Obviously I know I need to replace the battery for the low battery message. I'm curious as to what I need to do so the corrupted memory message and problem is fixed. Is there an OS/firmware way to fix the problem or is it something more complex? Any tips or instruction would be great and thanks in advance!

Hi
Its probably just a low battery, change it and the memory error should go away.

Thanks AlphaC. I thought as much, but wanted to be sure it wasn't another issue besides the battery. Thanks again!
