This is very true. I do very much like the sounds of the an1x, but they are getting older.
Im still going to keep an eye out for one and see what i can find. The NL4 looks really good. But its a bit pricey.
Ill keep looking tho. Maye a korg monologue and minilogue. Have a mono and poly both for a reasonable price. Seems like they would be good for begginers also.
I still love those keyboard synths that mold sounds.
Jp8000s look cool also.

Oh i just checked it on youtube and it looks great. Pretty good sound and alot of options to create noises.
