prophet 5 , revisions and year ?

hi everyone , im just wondering if anybody know what year each revision of the prophet 5 started ?! im a bit comfused

Rev 1: 1978
Rev 2: 1979
Rev 3: 1980 until about 1984

cool thx for your help ! wasnt clear over the internet ... that means theres lots of rev 3 compare to rev 1 and 2 in circulation.... must have lots of record that has been produce with rev 3s

Yes, by a large margin - the vast majority of tracks you hear Prophets on are rev 3's. People love to praddle on about how ameeezing rev 2's are and how inferior rev 3's are, but I've played both (and own a rev 3) and the difference isn't that huge.
