Proteus 2000 vs Proteus FX

Post by DLovas » Sun Apr 14, 2019 8:28 am

Hey guys, a while ago I bought a Proteus FX to make use of some classic sounds - more recently I obtained the Proteus 2000 with Composer and Protozoa ROMs. Listening to the Protozoa ROM, it seems to have most of the sounds of the Proteus FX. Right now I appreciate having an extra set of outs, but there is some other gear I’m interested in getting. Is there any compelling reason for me to keep both the FX and the 2000, or is the 2000 plenty on its own?
