Help on Minimalist sounds

Post by KristyStevens » Tue Jun 25, 2019 6:16 am

Any help I could get on producing minimalist sounds in the mode of Arvo Party would be appreciated. Background: no knowledge of the sythn world other than banging around YouTube, ebay sythn sales, other less user-friendly sythn forums, topped off by my beginner keyboard & minor computer skills. I have used Audacity software to layer/modify sounds/music but that's it. So if the response is "you're delusional", so be it.

I first migrated to a MicroKorg, then to a Motif 6 or Yamaha MX61 for natural instrument sounds in my price range but really I have no idea what makes the most sense for what I'm trying to do.

Thanks
