Vintage Synth Production Numbers?

Post by NCChao1268 » Sun Sep 29, 2019 10:06 pm

I am curious on the production numbers on vintage synthesizers such as:

Roland Jupiter 8
Roland Juno 60
Roland Juno 6
Roland Juno 106
Roland SH-101
Roland D50
Sequential Circuits Prophet 5
Oberheim OB-Xa
Oberheim Ob-8
Oberheim OBx
Yamaha DX-7
Yamaha DX1
Yamaha DX-5
Korg Polysix
Korg MonoPoly
Korg Poly 61
Original Minimoog
LinnDrum
Oberheim DMX
Linn9000

Anyone happen to know them or a very accurate number?
Feel free to list production numbers of other synths I didn't list!

Rough numbers:

Original Minimoog ~13,000

Yamaha DX7 200,000+

Yamaha DX1 ~140
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

The serial number of my Jupiter-8, #413272, indicates that it was produced in April 1984, which makes it one of the last ones to be manufactured. 41 was the month made, so about 3272 would be the number of JP-8s made.
