Digital Synth Circuits

Post by Jacob Hunt » Wed Feb 05, 2020 2:57 am

Hey all,
I was wondering if anybody might have any recommendations or pointers towards a way to gain a little more familiarity with the type of digital systems typically found in the vintage analog polysynths like the OB-Xa. I don’t usually have much issue troubleshooting the analog sections, but I don’t even know what to call most of the digital parts.
I’m guessing probably a beginning course in digital electronics would be an ok place to start? But what’s next?

Any suggestions for books, videos, whatever are welcome. Thanks!

Thanks, I’ve been absorbed in this for hours now! Looks like exactly what I needed.
