Yamaha Releasing Updated CS-80

Yamaha's has announced that they will be releasing what is essentially an updated version of the legendary CS-80. The new version has full size keys with poly aftertouch and is real analog with patch memory. It will sell for $3999.

When I was a kid at a theater watching The Empire Strikes Back, a guy in the row in front of me turned to a person next to him and said in a loud enough voice so that everyone around could hear him, "Coming up is where they show that Darth Vader is Luke's Father."

Regarding a CS-80 reissue, yeah, that would be cool. I'd be surprised if Yamaha did it. Maybe we'll see something like this down the road from Behringer:
