Korg PPC-0* ROM card dumps, for the Wavestation SR

Post by SerialSinger » Tue Apr 14, 2020 6:11 pm

Hello forumers! Is there anybody here who can provide a sysex dump of the Korg PPC-01 ROM card, i.e. the one coupled with the XSC-804 PCM card in the PSC-1S "Dance" set for the Wavestation SR?

I know that the majority of those patches won't work without the PCM card, but I'm trying to assemble a bank of "lost sounds" for the WS: there are a few sounds included in that card that are working without the extra samples, and are not available anywhere else.

I will provide to the community the resulting bank, and I already have the "Synth Design" and "Ethnic" cards to dump as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Here are the dumps of the ultra rare Korg PPC-02 & PPC-03 cards, part of the PSC-2S "Synth Design" and PSC-3S "Ethnic" double-card sets for the Wavestation SR. They need to be coupled with the XSC-805 and XSC-806 PCM cards respectively, except for a few sounds on the first one which work without the extra samples.

I provided them here for backup purposes, but if someone has a Korg 01/W or 03R/W, those PCM cards are included also in double-card bundles for those instruments, so it will be possible for those who own them to use those on the SR as well!

Enjoy, and please someone share the PPC-01...

Please note: the sysex dumps posted before will send data to the CARD bank, so you'll need a RAM card in your WS to make it work.

Here are the links to the same data splitted in 3 files each (wavesequences, patches and performances), and set to write into the RAM1 internal memory bank:

STILL waiting for a PPC-01 card owner to complete the collection!!!!!

How u organise your patches(performances)? I want to make one bank out of ten, for example.I downloaded like 50 syx banks, and just want to choose best ones and organise em in two RAM banks. How do I do it?

I use SoundDiver for this - always have.
