yamaha sy35 save into the keyboard possible?

Post by squatski » Thu May 21, 2020 10:19 pm

The manual was written by a fool, it doesn't clearly state if I need a silly rare card that will probably never ever turn up on ebay EVER
Or can I just store a patch I created onto the internal battery memory ram if there is one.
Anyone know, gonna have to leave the synth on until I know. Could always just sample it into the akai but dammit I just made the most amazing patch! Only got the keyboard this morning as well

ok you can delete this thread now, managed to work it out MY SELF!

AND The winner for worst ever synth manual ever created.... the person who wrote the sy35 manual. NOWHERE does it tell you how to save to internal ram.
Found out it was you hit store, then you hit 'voice'
I'm so annoyed at this manual. absolute c**p.

Every time I fire that machine up, I have to figure out how to save a patch, again. Incredibly unintuitive. Glad you figured it out. The SY35 is capable of some great sound.

Pressing Store is always a good choice for saving things ;)

BTW, if you look at p.38 of the Quick Start manual (not the Feature Reference) it explains the process.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
