Hi Everyone! New here and want to find out some info on an old synthesizer. Been cleaning out the place and I have a vintage Roland Jupiter 4. I don't use it and don't want it and was curious if it was even worth anything so I looked it up on ebay and there is one listed for like 6K. Anyways, mine is not in pristine condition like that one but I'm wondering if it is worth anything, whether I should sell it or just hold on to it. Any input is appreciated. If anyone knows of any experts on this topic, please refer me to them.
Many thanks and Happy New Year!!!
Bill

Re: Value of Vintage Jupiter 4
Always look at SOLD listings on eBay and Reverb.com to see what current market value is.
People always ask silly amount of money for gear, but doesn't always sell.

Re: Value of Vintage Jupiter 4
For a non serviced unit and bad cosmetics I wouldn’t value it over 2k. I’ve seen a few in bad state for 1k which is still pretty generous. For a serviced unit that’s well preserved it would be fair for 3,5-4K and if it has midi interface and a modern PSU it’s around 4-4,5k.
