I use a Korg Triton Extreme 61 for everything. Program all kinds of splits and layers and load a few samples beforehand. It's a classic rock band so using mostly piano, organs, and horns. Finally using some synth sounds for a Prince track, yay!
I may get SRX 11 for my Roland XV3080 and use it as a piano module. I'm afraid it won't sound any better though.

These are some serious setups! When I played tonight, I brought my Roland HS-60 and Casio CZ-101. Patrick brought a Novation K-Station and our drummer brought some drums.

I also brought a wad of circuit bentstruments for a seperate noise act.
so what do I put down here now?

Do you mean the non-stock knobs? Came to me that way. At some point when I find replacements on Ebay I will fix that. Otherwise Dr. Bob is tip-top.

I should start writing an acceptance speech!

I haven't even mentioned the rackmount stuff: Yamaha TX81Z, Two Paia 6760 Parametric EQ's, ART FXR effects unit, custom-built pacthbay, Behringer MX2004A mixer
I'd like to find a used Roland JV1080 and/or 2080 to add to the rack, and possibly a rackmount sampler as well. It'll probably happen once I get some cash in my wallet.

Well, of course it depends on what gig, and for what band/project
In 2004 I did 4 months in Central America playing techno with only a CS-6X/mc-505/ms2000 and a laptop

But for rock and roll, I like to travel light...
I can sit in with any band with my trusty CS-6x and a VK-8m.
For the first time ever my set-up/tear-down is faster than a guitar player!

Anyone got any cool live shots with these monster rigs?

Here's me in Guatemala City, notice the bar-table keyboard stand!

I don't take any stands with me, just 2X 32kg's check-in luggage! I put my clothes in the keyboard cases...

Also note the bored hombre's in the background, I said I play in CA, I didn't say I was a big draw. ;-)
Mostly I played on stage between local DJ's, and even if I could bring more gear, it's a hassle.

I'd love to do more gigs with huge rigs like the old days mid-90's in Vancouver. I once had 13 synths in a big circle at a booze-can...but they stayed there through the week, the club was only open Saturdays.
Anyone from BC here?

My project is sorta cyberpunk / industrial flavored,

Live rig is: Moog Voyager, Roland Jupiter-6, Korg MS10, and voice running into Ableton Live (4, still trying to import our songs into 6) via an RME Multiface.
Guitar player has a highly-customized Aria ProII Cardinal series guitar via V-Amp into Ableton Live, and other vocalist also spins an Electribe ESX into the mix. Drums are all original samples sequenced in Live; mostly scrap metal hits recorded to minidisk and analog kicks sampled from the Voyager.

I'll be getting a Little Phatty stage edition next month, which might replace the MS10 for live use... maybe. There are some sounds that nothing does better than the MS (except maybe a bigger MS).

Also I eventually want to add live percussion, with industrial samples being triggered from my Zendrum. I think that would go over well onstage.
"The tb-303 sounds like poo and I think I could sell it for way more if I need some gas money, but no other poo sounds as pooey as it, plus it has a sequencer..." - Zamise
