They really use any old type of keyboard.

I have an issue of keyboard magazine that I wish was near me, but some notable ones I remember are Farfisa Mini Compact, Korg MS20, EDP Wasp, and quite a few others. They like their gear vintage, and they record with no midi.

Don't forget extensive use of the EMS VCS3. You can hear it on Black Cherry (the album) quite a bit in all the bleeps and bloops. There was an article a couple years ago where Will mentioned this one specifically.

Yeah, they have a metric-s@*t ton of gear!

In addition to all the stuff mentioned, Will has a big modular as well (can't tell what it is, but I'm guessing Analog Solutions from the looks and the fact their English).

Lot of talent between the two of them!

Will is also fond of running Allison's voice through the MS20's pitch-to-CV converter. Listen for it all through Felt Mountain - great effect, especially when the tracking glitches at the end of notes :)

I named a factory preset on the Moog Little Phatty (Stage Edition) after them. wonder if they'll ever notice.
Embarrassingly, it's a patch that ONLY ever sounded right on the unit I wrote the patches on... due to a quirk of the modulation buss on that unit. Oh well. ;)

They are amazing to see live. I was hoping they would have used some vintage synths on their last tour as Air do but I couldn't see any. I think it was mostly samples in an Akai. It sounded good anyway so I can't complain.

I don't think anyone has mentioned their Philips Philicorda which you see them play in their studio in one of the extras on their live DVD. It had a Korg Monopoly on top.

Yes, she is controlling the oscillators with her voice by singing into the pitch-to-cv jack on the MS-20. They do this all over Black Cherry as well, check out the first song Crystalyne (mispelled  ). The chorus and end are brialliant uses of this. I always wanted an MS-20.
