Yamaha SHS10 question

Postby OggeOJ » Sat Jun 16, 2007 6:41 pm

The SHS10 has some buttons near the pitchbend. Can you program them to act like the bass pedals on a organ?

In any case, is it a nice controller?

No, you can't program those buttons to act like bass pedals on an organ. Look at what those buttons are for:

I think it was a nice controller when I had it - if you don't mind smaller size keys and no velocity. I have a page that has audio demos of the SHS-10:

The buttons near the pitchbend are useful actually, especially the ones to control the vibrato and engage the portamento. MIDI out is also useful.
