1. EMU P2500 (XL ROM, Techno Yard ROM, sounds of the ZR ROM, and Protozoa ROM, that'll give me enough timbrality and a deep enough architecture coupled with waves to cover almost any base I need) [ummm, now the P is DAMN modular in nature, so I'm not sure if it counts or not]clueless wrote:Imagine you had to get rid of all your gear and choose only one of the following for the your pleasures:
1 Poly
2 Mono
3 Drum machine
4 Sequencer
5 Wild card ( your own choice.)
Only 5 pieces and No modulars allowed!!
2. FutureRetro 777
3. EMU P2500 (with a Protean ROM and Techno Beat ROM, I'd not only have same damn good acoustic sets available, not only some basic 909 and 808 sampels available, but enough analogue based waves and a deep enough architecture to go to town in regard to creating my own drum timbres)
4. If software is allowed, Ableton Live, if software isn't allowed I'd say a Roland MV8000 (that, coupled with two Ps and the 7, I have damn hefty amount of sequencing power available).
5. Roland V-Synth
