Orbital synth studio- video

This was on this months Future music mag. Very interesting. Quality is poor because it's been transcoded... but it's a good taster.

If you want better quality, buy the mag :)

What kind of stands are those?

His voice and interview style reminds me of the bit in Spinal Tap where Nigel is showing off his guitar collection.

Hard to tell from the crappy compression, but it looks like a MS2000R to me.

I laughed at the OSCar not working...but I still want one.

Yep, MS2000. IMO it's a million miles away from Nigel Tufnell, but that's a funny comment nonetheless. Maybe it seems that way if you're not used to the accent?

I liked how he kept trying to push that rubber thing on the OSCar :D
The stand looks to be that special Quik-Lok stand

Boring studio, boring person. At least they used to make good music.
But really. All you learn from this is that he likes the Andromeda and SH101 (and the broken OSCar) and doesn't like virtual analogs - he also has some reason for that which he can't quite put into words. But we get to watch him try.
