This come up every so often. Besides the elektron gear people seem to think there is heavy use of software and possibly a virus.

AFAIK they mostly used software, some of the synths sound they came from Arturia's range.

Hello , , in recent interview they says they are using Monomachine cause tey are sponsorised (pay) by Elektron !in fact the Knife don't use a Elektron Monomachine for their analog sounds but : Roland SH-101 synth and the Swedish-made Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1, Native Instruments FM7 soft synth, Casio RP-1 Rapman synth, and the Boss Voice Transformer(they favorite effect on their voice)

This "(pay)" claim is completely false.

maybe not a pay claim but they could have gotten free gear from them.

could have, they may have gotten discounts or whatever, this is not unusual and nor does is cry foul...BUT they are not paid to use Elektron gear.

I've heard them ... sounds like Monomachine presets to me ... I didn't like it.

why hate on free gear?
No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.

I'd like to add that I don't hate them. They got their own thing,,.. I was more dissing on the Elektron sound because it reminded me why I sold those things.

I'd lie if I said I really liked them ... but if some girl I was talking to said they were really into them .. I could BS my way through it and not feel guilty..
