A heartfelt thanks to Vintagesynth, the moderators, and all of the VSErs who make this the fantastic forum that it is.

Were it not for the wealth of knowledge and moral support of the members, I never would have gotten as deeply into composing electronic music as I have. In fact, I have switched careers (from law to music), something which I never would have done but for VSE's opening the world of electronic music to me.

Thanks everyone!

WD

P.S. Shaft, you made me blush. :)

I am very very glad that VSE is back online!

Thank you, all the people that make is possible.

To get rid of spammer , would it be an idea to ask people to present themselves before being accepted?

Nice to see the place back up and running - it would have been a sad loss.

That said, a big thanks to Vintagesynth for his time and effort in keeping this place ticking!
I didn't get where I am today by posting on internet forums.

Life feels good again, so thanks to all the moderators for keeping this up, it's part of our life, no matter how corny that may sound, we know it's true. It reminded me of old lyrics that go like this:

Love is in the air (or on VSE)
Everywhere (and every post) I look around
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound

And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes

THANK YOU!

Oh I certainly appreciate this forum, I've been a steady poster for some 2-3 years now. The day didn't feel complete unless I'd be able to check in on the forum a few times a day. It also saved many boring nights at night shifts at work.

We have a nice community here, even though there are squabbles and fights every now and then, we move on. I always find some interesting threads here, and I usually stay away from off-topic even. I like to apply my knowledge about synths to others aswell.

I hope everyone read the Announcement from Mr Vintagesynth.

I agree, Squarewave. Many of us remember a less hectic time on these forums. But with growth, comes the inevitable issues. We all need to take a role in keeping the place a bit more tidy and civil. The future usefullness of VSE boils down to all of us showing simple respect for this place, and the fellow members who comprise it.
As always, kindly allow for the possibility I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Thanks so much for keeping this forum alive. I learn so much here... and hopefully contribute what I know from time to time!
